Nerves

James and I are at a point in our lives where we don't have tons of friends. Sure we have friends that we talk to on occasion or go have a drink with, but as far as people that we do things with on a weekly basis there really aren't any. We seem to be at a time in our lives where we are stuck in the middle. Some friends are single or younger and spend time in the few bars around town, the other friends have kids (I'm not saying that friends with kids aren't fun, they just tend to do things with other people who have kids to play with their own). We are not single or young and we do not have kids.

We decided that we needed to do different things to meet some different people because, much to our surprise, people don't knock on our door and ask us to go out to eat with them or go have a drink. Our solution was to sign up for a wine tasting at one of the wine stores in town. We figure we already have one thing in common, wine! Which in our eyes isn't a bad thing to have in common.

I thought that this was a brilliant plan until now. The tasting is tomorrow and now I'm nervous. I'm a pretty shy person until I get to know someone then I can talk your ear off. I'm not super comfortable in big groups and the most important part, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR! I don't want to be overdressed, but sure don't want to be under dressed. Maybe I can convince James that I need a new outfit. If that works then I will be signing up for the tastings every month! I don't mind being uncomfortable if it gets me new clothes!

Justin and I like to do Wine Tasting, martini Bar, Art Gallery type children free adult things. Maybe your other friends with kids might to? Just a thought. Everyone needs an adult night out sometimes.

Hope you guys have a good time. If your going to the Wine Rack, look and see if they have Starry Night for me please?
