Oh Monday

It's always easier for me to come back to work on Monday after I have had a busy weekend. If the weekend is busy I look forward to sitting at my computer, catching up on blogs and resting a bit. This Monday however is not one of those. We had a fabulous relaxing weekend and I would like nothing more than to be on my couch with James right now.

Saturday morning we got up a little early and ran some errands. Involved in those errands was a stop at Target which is possibly my favorite store ever. We haven't been in a LONG time and we enjoyed just walking around filling our baskets full of goodies. When we got home we started housework and by 3:00 the house was sparkling and all the clothes were washed.

All the work on Saturday set our Sunday up wonderfully. We had decided not to have a Super Bowl party and not to go anywhere for one. Instead we had our own little party, which I attended in my pajamas. However before the game we did a lot of laying around, some work in the yard and I even enjoyed a nice bubble bath complemented with a glass of wine. IT WAS HEAVEN. I usually read in the bath but instead turned out the lights and just sat in the quiet. It was so nice and should be something that I do more often.

I was sad that the Cardinals lost, but to be honest I didn't watch much of the game. Instead I napped. I know, I know, so unAmerican, but so so wonderful!

I'm not happy to be at work today, but I am thankful that I still have a job to come to.
